“jk lol but genuinely I’ve been using this app for the past week or so & I already feel it’s helped me improve significantly in my viet. there’s enough features to feel robust without feeling overwhelming, and I especially love the way lessons are formatted in the app. they’re short, convenient and feel satisfying to complete while still requiring active recall. it’s hard to believe how much it offers while being entirely free. i feel there are very few resources for learning viet, especially the southern accent, which is why i really wanted to leave a review to support this app :) i tried to leave a review a few days ago, but it didn't work :') so hopefully this one goes through. yay for small creators!”

“For absolute beginners? Definitely the app Podglot. It’s a flashcards app that automatically suggests new words, uses spaced repetition, and provides context so you are learning more than 1 word.”

“I've been using both. If I find it hard to memorize the words, I use anki. I like to screenshot the podglot examples and put it onto anki. If it's simple enough for me to memorize, I just practice with podglot. I'm a heritage learner so while I can understand most things, I tend to forget what words to say when talking.”
